Twin Pines Orchard & Cider House
Twin Pines Orchards and Cider House, was founded in 1968 on a picturesque sandy loam beach ridge in Thedford, Ontario. The soil is rich with naturally occurring aquafers and is perfect for growing fruit. Twin Pines grows more than 40 varieties of commercial apples resulting in excess of one million pounds every year.
Mirepoix Farm
Mirepoix Farm is located in Prince Edward County, one of Ontario’s most fertile growing regions with a rich agricultural history since the late 1800’s. Owned and managed by Timothy Noxon, Mirepoix Farm is dedicated to bio-intensive organic growing and hand-crafted production methods to create a range of premium quality products.
Sandbanks Provincial Park
Sandbanks needed an environmentally friendly solution that could be the primary treatment for its water to reduce or prevent these harmful by-products and to use chlorine after ozone and filtration at a low level for residual protection through the pipes until used.
Central Smith Ice Cream
Central Smith was seeking a better solution to treat challenging well water contaminants. The well water is used for every aspect of their business from ice cream production, packaging, equipment cleaning, the cooling tower, as well as the kitchen and bathroom facilities. Water treatment had been an ongoing challenge for decades.
The George Brewery
The George is actively engaged in their community as a steward of the environment. For example, the organic matter that results from the brewing process is distributed to local farmers for use as cattle feed and compost.
Restaurant Pearl Morissette
Restaurant Pearl Morissette is striving to achieve carbon neutrality and this is reflected in every aspect of their business. Meat and produce are organically grown and locally sourced wherever possible. After extensive global research, they chose an organic certified ozone water treatment system to provide premium drinking water and sanitization without the use of chemicals.
London Dairy Farms
London Dairy required a sustainable, non-toxic solution with superior disinfection capability to treat problems that are typically found in farm well-water, including high levels of hydrogen sulphide (sulphur) odour and film as well as the presence of dissolved ferrous iron, iron bacteria and manganese.
CannTx Life Sciences
Licensed by Health Canada, CannTx boasts a successful agri-business operation near Guelph, Ontario that uses the latest evidence-based technology to produce commercial-grade cannabis in an indoor, hydroponic environment.
Town of Cobourg
Cobourg’s wastewater treatment facility had used chlorine as a disinfectant for its wastewater since 1969 and later added sulphur dioxide as a final step. In 2016, it needed to test a chlorine-free wastewater treatment that would accomplish a number of goals.
